ATLUS had a strong showing during today’s Nintendo Direct, confirming that both Persona 6 and Persona 4 Revival are heading to Nintendo Switch 2. While we still have plenty of questions about Persona 6, we now know that Persona 4 Revival will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on May 20, 2027.
As for Persona 6, ATLUS confirmed that the next mainline entry will also be released for Nintendo Switch 2. The game will introduce a new standalone story and cast of characters while retaining the series’ familiar mix of everyday life, relationship-building, and supernatural dungeon-crawling.
AdvertisementUnfortunately, that was about all ATLUS was willing to say about Persona 6. The company continues to keep nearly everything about the game close to its chest, outside of those leaked achievements that we’re not going to get into today. Still, confirmation of a Nintendo Switch 2 version is welcome news for anyone hoping to take the next mainline Persona adventure on the go.
These games join Metaphor: ReFantazio as part of ATLUS’s growing Nintendo Switch 2 lineup, which is getting a November 12, 2026, release date. One thing is for sure; ATLUS is providing Switch 2 owners with plenty of RPG goodness to look forward to over the coming months.
