Dōkyūsei 2: Winter Heat Coming West Through Shiravune

Shiravune has announced the English release of Dōkyūsei 2: Winter Heat. The HD edition of the classic dating sim will be available on PC through Steam, Johren and other platforms still to be confirmed. A release window was not revealed yet.

Originally created in 1995, Dōkyūsei 2 was a classic dating sim from the legendary Elf. The new edition was made by Fanza Games and SILKY’S PLUS as Doukyuusei 2: Remake and released in Japan in 2024.

In the game, players assume the role of a young student during winter break. He receives an invitation from a friend and now has the chance to enjoy this period getting closer to some hot girls.

As a dating sim with visual novel segments, players have the chance to make many choices about how to spend their time. Depending on what you do within the limited timeframe of the winter break, it’s possible to meet new people, reconnect with old friends and reach different endings getting more intimate with the girls.

Just like its predecessor before it, Dōkyūsei 2: Winter Heat is the first time the game receives English text as an option and it comes with new art by illustrator Kohaku Sumeragi. It’s also filled with optional quality-of-life features to make the management of your schedule much more amenable than it would be otherwise.
